The network share (NIC, PC) disconnects from the network (router) during big file transfer

The system is Windows 7 64 bits

When I do big file transfer to the share folder on the computer, it disconects its network device from the router.

The solution is:

Set the following registry key to ’1′:

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\LargeSystemCache

and set the following registry key to ’3′:

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServe r\Parameters\Size

Restart!

The problem persist!!!

NIC is Atheros and in Event viewer we can see the following error:

The description for Event ID 194 from source AtcL001 cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\NDMP5

\DEVICE\{21DB9B20-DF8C-45C7-9173-7D55D056FC5C}

The specified resource type cannot be found in the image file

So i found next solution:

"As it turns out, the drivers for the Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet controller, when using Windows 7, are unable to support task offloading. As a result, the fix is to go Device manager>network adapter>properties>advanced>task offload:value=off

I'm really happy to have resolved this so I can stop running into my roommate's office to do file upload. No idea why it's only with attachments, but there you have it. I read about one guy who found that going back to beta win 7 drivers for his network card also worked, but I'm imagining that that's because the Beta drivers probably didn't have offloading on them or something."

This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. OR Your organization's policies are preventing us from completing this action for you....

READ HERE ИЛИ ПО-ДОЛУ:

Cause: Upgrading Internet Explorer from a previous version or uninstalling Google Chrome can corrupt dependent registry keys.

Following the simple steps below will help fix the issue:

1. Reset Internet Explorer settings to default and retest. If this does not work move on to step 2.

2. Set Internet Explorer as your default Browser - restart & retest - if no dice then move to step 3.

3. Open a Command prompt as Administrador on Windows Vista or Windows 7. Then copy and paste the following info line by line - pressing the enter key on your keyboard to initialise each command:

Отново подобен проблем, но съобщението е "Your organization's policies are preventing us from completing this action for you...." при опит да се отвори link от пощата.
Този път вече сме на windows 10 и Office 2016
Този път решението е да направите Outlook и IE default programs:
Settings; System; Default app; Set default by app; select IE and click "Set this program as default". Повторете същото за Outlook.
Затворете двата виновника и отворете outlook отново.
Когато за първи път направите click върху някоя връзка, е възможно да излезе списък с приложения и да пита с кое от тях да отвори връзката. Изберете IE за връзка към интернет или Outlook ако сте кликнали върху e-mail и направете отметка винаги да използва тази програма за отваряне на връзки от този тип. При мен забелязах, че на машината имаше инсталиран браузер Opera - мисля, че той е омазал нещата.

Outbox size is different on the exchange and client mashine

Папката с писмата, които чакат за изпращане (outbox) на сървера е с различен размер и брой писма отколкото на локалната машина на клиента. В резултат пощенската кутия расте непрекъснато и много бързо достига лимита си.

Решението е да премахнем за малко Cached Exchange Mode, да рестартираме outlook-а, да изтрием тези писма които уж чакат, но всъщност са изпратени предимного време и пак да включим Cached Exchange Mode.

Go to your Tools, then Account Settings. Double-click on your account name. Uncheck the “Use Cached Exchange Mode” box. Click Next, OK, Finish. Close and then restart Outlook. You should now see the messages in the Outbox. Review and if you are sure they match items in your Sent folder, permanently delete all Outbox messages. Go back to Account Settings and turn the Cached Exchange mode back on. Close and restart Outlook.
